Sustainable Monuments

The objective of the project Sustainable Monuments is to assist monument owners within the EUregion with sustainability, for example in lowering energy costs. The project focuses on opportunities and possibilities for monument owners in realizing more sustainable buildings. The best available techniques as well as forms of cooperation, financing and optimizing the process of sustainable renovation/restoration are considered.
The project Sustainable Monuments is an initiative of Van Zuyd Hogeschool, with national funding from SIA RAAK. Approximately 100 Euregional students (college and university) have conducted research and prepared reports on the following project cases:
